Delivery

Pin numbers and access numbers are delivered by email. Although not instant, delivery will be shortly after the order is placed. You will be contacted by telephone when you place your first order. Additional information may be required. If you have not received your pin numbers within 24 hours then retrieve your pin numbers by using the order tracking page. For this you will need, either the order ID and password sent to you or your password and email address. Please note that you can view all your previous pin numbers through the order tracking page. Should you wish your order posted to you, please contact you before placing your order.

Payment and Service Delivery

When a phone card is selected from Phonecard.ie for purchase, the shopper will be transferred to our main website www.thephonecardsite.com for payment processing.

How to get the best minutes

From a Landline

If dialling from your home or work landline we recommend you use the 1800 access number. This will mean the entire cost of the phone call will come off the phone card. No fee will be charged to your home or work phone bill. Using the (01) number may incur a charge from your landline provider. The (01) number is useful if you have a special tariff with your landline provider so that you can make free local calls.

From a Mobile

When dialling from a mobile phone, none of the access numbers are free. You should check with your mobile provider to find out which is best for you. Most customers who dial from their mobile use the (01) access number.

From a payphone

If you dial from a payphone you are charged a surcharge. The best access number to use would be the 1800 access.

Instant PIN Service

Customers will receive their PIN numbers and Access numbers instantly via email. They can also be viewed on our Order Tracking system. If it is your first order you may be contacted by telephone to verify your details.

Manufacturer Contacts

A customer Services telephone number will be supplied with your pin number by email. Please do not ring the manufacturer if you have not received your pin number. Only contact the manufacturer if you have already received your pin number and are having problems using it.

Refund Policies

You have the right to cancel an order up to 7 days after your purchase. If however you chose to use your phone card you lose this right. Accessing the PIN number constitutes use of your card and we cannot cancel your order in this situation. Refunds may only be made where a product does not work correctly and the telecom company providing the service is unable to correct the fault. We reserve the right to provide you with a replacement and to charge you for any calls prior to the fault developing.

How long does the credit on my phone card last for?

Card Expiry

• €5 pin - 30 days after first use
• €10 pin - 60 days after first use
• €20 pin - 120 days after first use
• €50 pin - 360 days after first use

Are there any other fees or charges?

There is no Connection Fee.

For Freephone Access add 1c per minute.

Calls from a payphone and some mobiles will incur an extra charge.

Daily maintenance charge applies

• €5 pin - 3 cents per day
• €10 pin - 1 cent per day
• €20 pin - 1 cent per day
• €50 pin - 1 cent per day

Call completion fee applies equal to the cost of a one minute call.
